Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Joint working with external partners such as the local authority and Quintain. Organised operations to tackle persistent groups with enforcement action being taken through police powers as well as civil powers.

Organised deployments at key times of known problematic events. Licencing team to lead with police assistance.

Op Adna continued effort of later shift deployments, tackling these issues. Working with internal & external partners to analyse intel and utilising data for more effective enforcement. Police powers will be via stop & search, issuing of community protection warnings & notices' and applying for criminal behaviour orders for the highest harm offenders.
