about

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

You can stay informed by signing up to MetEngage, a free messaging service that keeps you connected to what’s happening in your area. Whether its crime updates, safety advice, or news from your local policing team, you’ll get the information that matters to you when it matters most.

Priority 2: Reducing Anti-Social Behaviour and Drug-Related Activity

The Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) continues to address anti-social behaviour (ASB) and drug-related activity across Chatsworth Road, Mowbray Road (Bishops Lodge Hotel), Aylestone Avenue, Cavendish Road and Christchurch Avenue (Rosedene), Chatsworth Road, Tiverton green through a combination of high-visibility patrols, plain-clothes operations and intelligence-led policing.
Officers actively gather information from residents, partner agencies, and patrol activity to identify individuals involved in the use and supply of controlled drugs. This intelligence is used to direct enforcement activity, disrupt criminal behaviour and improve the safety and quality of life of those living and working within the area.
Targeted patrols are regularly conducted in identified hotspot locations to deter offending, increase public confidence, and address concerns raised by the community. Alongside enforcement activity, the SNT continues to adopt a problem-solving and safeguarding approach, recognising that many individuals involved in or affected by substance misuse are vulnerable and require appropriate support.

Patrols have focused on areas identified through crime trends and community concerns, helping to deter offending and improve public confidence.
Particular attention has been given to all forms of violence, including gang-related activity, drug-related violence, violence against women and girls (VAWG), safeguarding vulnerable persons, public space violence, and violence-linked anti-social behaviour around Kilburn Underground Station, Kilburn High Road, Chatsworth Road and Christchurch Avenue
