    Anti- Social Behaviour: Ponies and Gigs

    This relates to issues and concerns around anti social behaviour with youths that are riding gigs on public roads and using the local area. Concerns raised also with the welfare of animals.

    Action taken:

    Your team will conduct high visibility patrols in and around locations where youths have been seen riding gigs and thereby increasing enforcement and engagement in the locality. Youths will be identified and engagement with parents to tackle any concerns. Engagement with locals in relation to where and when locations are identified for animals being kept and check on the welfare. Again look at enforcement and education if any offences identified and co-ordinate work with partners such as the RSPCA if required.

    Anti- Social Behaviour:
    Town Hall Square & locality. This relates to the Town Hall Square estate and adjacent Crayford retail park. There has been a constant and increase in particular locations for ASB by groups of youths relating to thefts, bad behaviour towards shop staff and residents and drug misuse.

    Our team to increase patrols with a variety of high visibility and plain clothes to increase enforcement and engagement. This will result in a variety of outcomes from arrests to CPNW and other methods escalating to CBO’s if required. Engagement with business within the retail park and also engagement with residents of Town Hall Square. Where local residents are identified as being anti social working with partners to deal. If there are any issues with relation to the estate bringing this to the attention of Pea Body and working in conjunction with them to identify and resolve potential problems. Working in conjunction with the design out crime via visual audits where necessary.

    Drug dealing/ASB
    Been informed by local members of the public with relation to concerns and suspicious behaviour around ASB and alleged drug dealing in the area. Locations including Buckley Close, Craymill Square.

    Action taken:

    Our team to increase patrols with a mixture of high visibility and plain clothes and where required enforcement and engagement. Identifying groups, individuals and vehicles of interest and co-ordinate a response of educating and enforcement through direct stops and searches where evidence exists and deal with appropriately through methods such as arrests, CPNW, partnership referrals. Build and increase the intelligence picture by our own knowledge supported by the information of local residents and police systems such as crime mapping . This will enable us to focus the teams efforts.

    Anti-Social Behaviour by motor vehicles.
    Local residents have expressed their concern at anti-social behaviour by motorists, notably in the area around Tower Retail park and the one way system around Roman Way, London Road and Crayford Road.

    Our team will take direct action where possible in dealing with this type of anti-social behaviour. This may be by stopping the vehicles at the time or subsequently. This may be by using Section 59 legislation or other road traffic act legislation.

    Anti-Social Behaviour in Crayford Town Centre
    This relates to Crayford retail park and the adjacent residential area of Townhall Square. There have been reports of ASB, in the majority of cases by groups of youths relating to thefts, bad behaviour towards staff.

    Our team to increase patrols and therefore do enforcement and engagement.
    Identifying groups and individuals and looking at home visits and where necessary enforcement through CPW and other methods. Engagement with businesses in the retail park and also engagement with residents of Town Hall Square. Working closely with Peabody, the housing provider for Town Hall Square to make them aware of any issues arising.

    Violence reduction is number one aim across the Metropolitan Police . The team will conduct high visibility patrols and undertake specific tasks around the local train station and surrounding areas where we are aware of ASB and an increase in reporting. We will engage with local residents and also business and staff.
