Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Ward panel members are concerned about the level of ASB and Drugs Usage in the Five Elms Area
Action taken:
Regular High visibility/plain clothes patrols in the Five Elms Area. Appropriate use of ASB and stop and search powers.

Ward panel members are concerned about ASB in the Joyners Close area and surrounding roads and the impact it has on residents.
Action taken:
Working with our partners such as London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Council to tackle ASB, high visibility patrols in areas identified as ASB hot spots.

Regular patrols in the highlighted area with pro active use of stop & search powers.
