Dedicated Ward Officer
Hello, I’m PCSO SHUMAILA ABBASI, currently working in the Longbridge Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team for the barking and Dagenham area. I’ve been a Police Community Support Officer with the Met since 2019, and my role is focused on engaging with the local community, tackling anti-social behaviour, and supporting crime prevention initiatives.
I regularly patrol the area on foot and work closely with residents, businesses, schools, and local partners to help keep Longbridge a safe and welcoming place for everyone. I am passionate about building trust and making sure the voices of the community are heard.
If you see me out and about, feel free to stop and say hello—I’m always happy to listen to your concerns or offer support where I can.
