Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Containment of Robbery related crime across the ward. Targeting areas such as Cook road and Goresbrook road.
Action taken:
We will patrol areas highlighted as places where people feel unsafe and that have increased levels of reported Robberies.

Tackling any ongoing ASB being caused on the ward.
Action taken:
Targeted patrols in known areas which have issues with ASB such as Goresbrook park and Cook road.

Assisting to prevent burglaries.
Action taken:
We will give out burglary prevention leaflets to residents which provides information on home security. And conduct patrols at late hours when practicable.
