Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Based on the data analysis, Holden Close has been identified as a priority area for addressing anti-social behaviour (ASB).

To tackle this issue effectively, officers are collaborating with the Barking and Dagenham ASB enforcement team. This partnership focuses on targeting specific locations and individuals, sharing vital information, and utilizing the ASB Early Intervention System (EIS), which has shown positive results in addressing ASB robustly. The public is encouraged to report any signs of anti-social behaviour, regardless of how minor they may appear, to support these efforts. -

Data analysis indicates that Gainsborough Road and Butler Road should be prioritised for addressing vehicle-related crime.

In response, heightened high-visibility and covert patrols are being conducted at various times, focusing particularly on these areas. Officers will continue to provide practical crime prevention advice to residents on securing their vehicles and contents through face-to-face interactions and social media. This approach aims to raise awareness and prevent further incidents. -

Shoplifting incidents have primarily been concentrated in the Green Lane area.
