Restrictions
Abnormal loads are not allowed to travel anywhere in the Metropolitan Police area:
- 6am to 10am and 3.30pm to 8pm Monday to Friday
- 10.30am to 8pm Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays
Abnormal loads are not allowed within three miles of Charing Cross Station:
- 6am to 8pm Monday to Friday
- 10.30am to 8pm Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays
Abnormal loads over weight 101,605kg (100 tons), length 26 metres (85 feet) or width 3.82 metres (12.5 feet) are not allowed within the Metropolitan Police area:
- 6am to 8pm Monday to Friday
- 10.30am to 8pm Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays
The Metropolitan Police area is Greater London except the City of London.
M25
If your route uses the M25 make sure Area 5 (Connect Plus Services) are notified, and avoid travelling 6am to 10am and 3.30pm to 8pm Monday to Friday.
