Certain organisations, both in the UK and abroad, may ask you to provide your fingerprints for security purposes.
The Metropolitan Police has its own fingerprints booking service that sits on another website.
No data is passed between this site and the fingerprints booking service.
Who can use this service
If you have an email address, you can use this service to book an appointment.
You can get your fingerprints taken for:
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks
- visa applications
If you are requesting your fingerprints for a DBS check, you must have your DBS reference number.
