I've lost an item on public transport
Please report the loss to the Passport Office or DVLA.
If you are currently located in, or you live in:
Please report the loss to your embassy or high commission.
For all other locations in England:
Please report the loss by visiting a police station.
For example, birth certificates and bank statements. Please report the loss to the office that issued it.
If the item is handed in to us then we will make efforts to contact you.
If you know the name of the company that runs the service you were on then contact them directly, as they'll have their own lost property office or service.
