The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) is many things to many people.
There are four sections to complete at Bronze and Silver level and five at Gold. They involve volunteering in the community, becoming fitter, developing new skills, planning, training for and completing an expedition and, for Gold only, working with a team on a residential activity.
There may be an opportunity to complete your Bronze DofE as a Cadet. Your VPC leader will be able to tell you more.
We can offer volunteering opportunities, sport at cadets, develop your marching or policing knowledge for your skill, we have qualified leaders who can deliver the expedition section and many units have a pool of equipment which can significantly reduce the cost of completing your DofE with the VPC.
