4. How to apply
Welcome to the first step towards your Employer Supported Policing (ESP) application. There are two parts to the application, both of which are online.
First, we'll ask for a few details about your employer and if they are part of the ESP scheme you're applying for. Then, we'll direct you to our online recruitment portal where you can log in, or register for the first time, and apply for the role.
Ready to begin? Click 'Apply now' if you can answer 'yes' to these three questions:
- Is your employer a formal supporter of Employer Supported Policing (ESP)?
- Are you applying to join the Met special constabulary and carry out your patrols in London?
- Would you be able to attend an interview or selection day and a fitness test or medical day at short notice?
If the answer to any of the questions above is 'no', you may want to consider applying for a general special constabulary role.
