Location and Time Commitment: Attendance at approximately eight strategic meetings per year, each lasting around half a day, in Central London. In addition, the postholder may be called upon to provide support and advice on a less formal basis as required.

Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is seeking to appoint Non-executive director (NED) to the MPS Management Board. This is a unique opportunity to provide independent advice, challenge and support to the senior leadership of the UK's largest police service as it continues its ambitious reform journey through the New Met for London 2 (NMfL2) programme.
Reporting to the chief strategy and investment officer, you will join a small group of highly experienced NEDs who act as trusted sounding boards to the Management Board, bringing external insight, strategic challenge and specialist expertise to support effective leadership, decision-making and organisational performance.
