6. Pay and benefits

We’re certain that you’ll find your role as a custody healthcare practitioner (HCP) a genuinely worthwhile experience. And that’s the case whether you work full-time, part-time or as part of a job share.

Pay

Total salary will be £49,326 to £54,555. We may be able to match your current basic salary if within pay scale. This includes 20% shift allowance (15% during induction), location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

We also offer a generous bonus scheme including a £2,500 joining bonus and a £2,500 bonus after one year's service.

Overtime is available to those who wish to increase their monthly pay and is paid at a generous rate.

Leave

The paid annual leave entitlement for full time staff is 28 days, rising to 33 days after five years’ service.
