Officer concerned: PC William Woolston
Dates of hearing: 22 December 2025
The allegations against PC William Woolston were that, PC William Woolston sent flirtatious and sexual messages to a female member of the public he met in the course of his policing duties.
In behaving the way he did, it is alleged that PC William Woolston breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Discreditable Conduct, and Authority, Respect & Courtesy
The Chair, Commander Stephen Clayman found the allegations proven, and that PC William Woolston had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour at the level of Gross Misconduct.
PC William Woolston was dismissed without notice and will be placed on the college of policing barred list.
