Officer concerned: PC Idominik Efeotor
Dates of hearing: Monday 14 September 2026
PC Efeotor answered the following allegations:
It is alleged that, between 2024 and 2026, PC Efeotor published podcast and social media content identifying himself as a serving Metropolitan Police Service officer whilst making derogatory comments about the MPS, the Directorate of Professional Standards and senior leaders, thereby undermining public confidence in the police service.
It is further alleged that PC Efeotor continued to operate and publish content through the TGTBTU Podcast after authority for the business interest had been revoked and despite being warned of the consequences.
It is also alleged that PC Efeotor repeatedly used offensive, insulting and derogatory language towards police officers, Directorate of Professional Standards staff and other individuals on public platforms.
It is further alleged that PC Efeotor improperly disclosed and discussed information relating to misconduct proceedings by publishing material capable of identifying an officer who was subject to an anonymity direction.
In acting in the way alleged, PC Efeotor has breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour and this conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.
The Chair of the proceedings, Commander Colin Wingrove, determined that the allegations were proven at the level of Gross Misconduct and that the Standards of Professional Behaviour had been breached, namely in respect of Discreditable Conduct, Orders and Instructions, Authority, Respect and Courtesy, and Confidentiality.
As a result, PC Idominik Efeotor was dismissed without notice and will now be added to the Barred List held by the College of Policing.
