Officer concerned: Former PC Katie Neve
Dates of hearing: 15 May 2026
Former PC Katie Neve faced allegations relating to multiple incidents in 2025, including dangerous and aggressive driving during a road rage incident, violent and obstructive behaviour whilst under arrest, reckless behaviour whilst in hospital under police supervision, misuse and disclosure of police information without a policing purpose, and the sending of abusive and discriminatory communications.
The Chair, Commander Andy Brittain, found the allegations proven on the balance of probabilities.
Furthermore, the Chair found that FPC Neve had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of 'Discreditable Conduct', 'Authority, Respect and Courtesy', 'Confidentiality', and 'Equality and Diversity', and that these breaches amounted to Gross Misconduct.
FPC Neve would have been dismissed without notice and will be placed on the College of Policing barred list.
