Officer concerned: PC Quang Tu
Dates of hearing: 2 to 3 March 2026
It was alleged that PC Quang TU created a witness statement related to a criminal investigation wherein he inserted a signature on the statement that had not been provided in person by that witness.
It was alleged that in doing so PC Quang breached the following Standards of Professional Behaviour:
*Honesty and Integrity
*Duties and Responsibilities
The Panel's judgment was that this was a breach of standards, but one that after hearing all the evidence and considering the issues carefully, did not reach the level of misconduct that was so serious as to justify disciplinary action. The Panel concluded that the breach by PC Quang Tu of the PSB of Duties and Responsibilities did not amount to misconduct, nor gross misconduct
