It is alleged that whilst on duty on 2 and 3 May 2024, PC Brendan Jones made discriminatory remarks whilst in the presence of colleagues.
The Chair, Commander Andy Brittain found that the allegations against PC Brendan Jones was proven to have breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Equality and Diversity, and Discreditable Conduct, at the level of Gross Misconduct and he has been dismissed without notice.
