Summary

It is alleged that on 29th July 2023, Officer X attended Female A’s home address and asked for some of his belongings. Whilst there, he pulled Female A out of the property by her arm. This caused reddening to her arm. AA put the case on the basis that the Officer grabbed Female A by the arm, that is said to be unlawful conduct, and therefore discreditable.

Decision

The panel concluded that the AA had not proved its primary factual case. Accordingly, the panel found that no breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour was established.
