Officer concerned: Former PC Mohammed Mohammed
Dates of hearing: 1 June 2026
The brief circumstances are that, on 1 August 2025 at Barkingside Magistrates' Court, FPC Mohammed pleaded guilty to the offence of driving a motor vehicle while over the prescribed alcohol limit, contrary to section 5(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Act 1988. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £700, together with the applicable surcharge and costs.
Former PC Mohammed was not in attendance for these proceedings, which was confirmed by his federation representative PC Paul Marks. FPC Mohammed was not represented at the hearing, however was provided the opportunity.
The Chair, Chair Katie Lilburn, found the allegations proven on the balance of probabilities. Furthermore, the Chair found that FPC Mohammed had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Discreditable Conduct and that these breaches amounted to Gross Misconduct.
FPC Mohammed would have been dismissed without notice and will be placed on the college of policing barred list.
