Officer concerned: Former PC Elliott Batt
Dates of hearing: 1 to 4 June 2026
FPC Batt faced the allegations that between June 2020 and October 2020 he subjected his partner at the time to controlling and/or coercive behaviour. It was further alleged that in July 2020 FPC Batt inappropriately grabbed a female colleague on a night out.
The above conduct breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour relating to Authority, Respect and Courtesy and Discreditable Conduct.
The panel, chaired by Commander Jason Prins, found the allegations proven to a level of gross misconduct and FPC Batt would have been dismissed had he still been serving.
