Officer concerned: PC Peter Zogbi
Dates of hearing: 17 - 19 February 2026
Police Constable Peter Zoghbi, answered allegations that his conduct amounted to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
• Duties and Responsibilities
• Orders and Instructions
It was alleged that PC Zoghbi failed to properly act in accordance with his duties as the primary investigator whilst attending an alleged incident in which a member of public was stabbed.
The panel chaired by Commander Katie Lilburn, found the allegations proven at Misconduct. As a result, and due to a live final written warning already in place at the time of this behaviour, PC Peter Zoghbi was dismissed without notice and will be added to the College of Policing barred list.
