Summary

Officer A answered the following allegations:

It was alleged that the officer possessed 19 extreme pornographic images depicting bestiality on two mobile phones seized.

It was further alleged that, the officer accessed approximately 300 websites linked to bestiality pornography, contrary to Section 63 of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008.

Decision

The Chair of the proceedings, T/Commander Brigid Beehag-Fisher, determined that the allegations were proven at the level of Gross Misconduct and that the Standards of Professional Behaviour had been breached, namely in respect of Discreditable Conduct.

As a result, Officer A was dismissed without notice and will now be added to the Barred List held by the College of Policing.
