Dates of hearing: 6 to 8 July 2026
The Misconduct alleged was set out in full in the revised Regulation 30 notices supplied to the Officers, but in summary related to an incident on 5th October 2023 when PC Olajide and Former PC Fellowes sat their sergeants' exams together, consecutively in the same room at a private residential address.
Former PC Fellowes
Having found breaches of the Standards, the Panel carefully considered whether the breaches amounted to Misconduct, Gross Misconduct or neither (Regulation 41(15) as modified); para 11.115 HOG) and found that officer Former PC Fellowes breached the Standard of Professional Behaviour, namely, Honesty and Integrity on the balance of probabilities having regard to all of the evidence, circumstances and submissions made to it over the course of these proceedings.
PC Olajide
Having found breaches of the Standards, the Panel carefully considered whether the breaches amounted to Misconduct, Gross Misconduct or neither (Regulation 41(15) as modified); para 11.115 HOG) and found that officer PC Olajide breached the Standard of Professional Behaviour, namely, Honesty and Integrity on the balance of probabilities having regard to all of the evidence, circumstances and submissions made to it over the course of these proceedings.
The Panel, chaired by former Commander Katie Lilburn, determined the breach relating to FPC Fellowes amounted to Gross Misconduct and concluded that he would have been dismissed had he still been a serving officer.
The Panel also determined the breach relating to PC Olajide amounted to Gross Misconduct and the outcome that appropriately fulfilled the purpose of the proceedings was dismissal without notice.
Both officers have been placed on the College of Policing Barred List.
