Officer concerned: PC Daniel Betts
Dates of hearing: 6 March 2026
The allegations were as follows:
On 22rd December 2025, whilst on duty, you attended a neighbour dispute regarding a parcel delivery. You took possession of the parcel, containing trainers to the value of £160.
Later in the day, PS Straker contacted you via telephone, asking the whereabouts of the parcel. You dishonestly stated that you had discarded the property in a bin, close to the venue, in Biggin Hill.
You called PS Straker back shortly after and stated you had actually put the property in a bin, close to your home address, in Maidstone, Kent.
On the evening of 23rd December 2025, you were arrested for theft at your home address and the parcel (which had been opened) was recovered by officers, inside your personal vehicle.
