Officer concerned: Officer A
Dates of hearing: 23 March 2026
The allegations are that Officer A had undertaken an undeclared outside business activity connected to a driving test services company, including administrative and financial involvement that should have been reported under MPS policy. Officer A is further alleged to have given an untruthful account to DPS officers regarding her role, despite evidence of extensive activity and financial transactions on behalf of the business.
In behaving the way she did, it is alleged that Officer A breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Discreditable Conduct, Honesty and Integrity (Integrity only), and Orders and Instructions.
The Chair, Commander Stephen Clayman, found the allegation proven, and that Officer A had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour at the level of Gross Misconduct.
Officer A would have been dismissed without notice and will be placed on the college of policing barred list.
