Officer concerned: Former PC Katarzyna Komor
Dates of hearing: 31 March 2026
The brief circumstances are that, between November 2017 and November 2021, it is alleged that Former PC Katarzyna Komor carried out unauthorised searches on MPS computer systems, accessing information she was not entitled to view.
On 4 December 2025, at Southwark Crown Court, FPC Komor pleaded guilty to an offence under Section 1 of the Computer Misuse Act 1990.
Former PC Komor was not in attendance for these proceedings, which was confirmed by her federation representative Leighton Gurney. FPC Komor was represented at the hearing by her federation representative.
The Chair, Commander Andy Brittain, found the allegation proven on the balance of probabilities. Furthermore, the Chair found that FPC Komor had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of 'Discreditable Conduct' and 'Confidentiality', and that these breaches amounted to Gross Misconduct.
If FPC Komor was still serving, she would have been dismissed without notice, in addition FPC Komor will be placed on the college of policing barred list.
