Police Constable David Izard, based within East Area Command Unit, will answer allegations that his conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of:
It is alleged that between January 2022 and May 2023 PC Izard made inappropriate comments to/about female colleagues and behaved in a sexual and/or inappropriate way towards female colleagues.
PC Izard's behaviour was inappropriate, unwanted, unprofessional and offensive and is alleged to have made his colleagues uncomfortable.
The matter and conduct set out above is said to amount to gross misconduct, namely a breach of the standards of professional behaviour that, if proved, are so serious as to justify dismissal.
The identity of complainants/witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
