Misconduct hearing for PC Alexander Hill

Police Constable Alexander Hill, based within MO8 Roads and Transport Policing Command Unit, will answer allegations that their conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:

*       Discreditable Conduct
*       Honesty and integrity (Integrity only)

It is alleged that, on 28 March 2026, PC Hill drove his personal vehicle whilst displaying non-compliant registration plates commonly referred to as "ghost plates", which rendered parts of the registration mark unreadable to certain camera enforcement systems.
 
In acting in the way alleged, PC Hill has breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour and this conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.

The identity of victims and witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
