Accelerated Misconduct hearing for PC Idominik Efeotor

Police Constable Idominik Efeotor, based within the Parliamentary & Diplomatic Protection Command Unit, will answer allegations that their conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:

- Discreditable Conduct
- Orders and Instructions
- Authority, Respect and Courtesy
- Confidentiality

It is alleged that, between 2024 and 2026, PC Efeotor created and published podcast episodes and social media content in which he identified himself as a serving Metropolitan Police Service officer and made comments critical of the Metropolitan Police Service, the Directorate of Professional Standards and senior police leaders thereby undermining public confidence.

It is further alleged that PC Efeotor continued to produce and publish content through the TGTBTU Podcast after permission for the associated business interest had been withdrawn and despite having been warned about the consequences of doing so.

It is also alleged that PC Efeotor used offensive, insulting and derogatory language towards police officers, members of police staff and other individuals on public platforms.

In addition, it is alleged that PC Efeotor disclosed and discussed information relating to misconduct proceedings and published material capable of identifying an officer who was the subject of an anonymity direction.

In acting in this way, PC Efeotor has breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour and this conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.

The identity of victims and witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
