Misconduct hearing for APS Rachel Bright

Acting Police Sergeant Rachel Bright, based within South West Command Unit, will answer allegations that her conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of:
* Discreditable Conduct
It is alleged that, whilst on a work-related night out, A/PS Bright paid attention to a colleague in a manner that was inappropriate including: hugging her and telling her that she loved her; trying to kiss her on at least one occasion, including on her lips; deliberately touching her bottom when a photograph of a group of officers was being taken; and touching her in the area of her vagina, over clothing, in an action that was deliberate.
The identity of victims and witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
If you wish to apply to attend the hearing you must book no later than 1pm the previous working day. This is to allow for sufficient time to process the application. Any requests received after this time will be unable to be processed in time for the hearing and therefore will be rejected.
