PC Curtis King of MO8 Road Policing Command will answer the allegations that his conduct amounts to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of:
- Discreditable Conduct
- Orders and Instructions
It is alleged that on 9 June 2026 PC King's MPS issued smartphone had been identified via Lawful Business Monitoring to have retained multiple intimate and explicit images of one or more unidentified females, without a legitimate policing purpose.
It is alleged that this conduct, if proven, individually and/or cumulatively amounts to gross misconduct and therefore should be dismissed.
The identity of victims and witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
If you wish to apply to attend the hearing you must book no later than 1pm the previous working day. This is to allow for sufficient time to process the application. Any requests received after this time will be unable to be processed in time for the hearing and therefore will be rejected.
