PC Melek Ukuser p270298 based within North Area Command Unit, will answer allegations that her conduct amounted to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of:
It is alleged that at various times in 2025, PC Melek Ukuser made unwelcome sexual comments to a colleague, and touched and/or held her colleagues hands when it was unwanted.
The matter set out above if proven, is said to amount to gross misconduct, in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.
An application has been made seeking anonymity for the complainants who were the subjects of the alleged conduct set out above. The Chair of the proceedings is minded to grant the application.
Notice is hereby given to members of the press that, should they wish to make representations in relation to the application for anonymity, any such representations must be submitted by email to [email protected] no later than 4pm on Monday, 5 October 2026.
If you wish to apply to attend the hearing you must book no later than 1pm the previous working day. This is to allow for sufficient time to process the application. Any requests received after this time will be unable to be processed in time for the hearing and therefore will be rejected.
