It is alleged that on 3 August 2022 PC Charanjit Ubhi applied force to a member of the public without his consent which is alleged not to have been necessary, proportionate and reasonable in all the circumstances.
The matter set out above if proven, is said to amount to Gross Misconduct, in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.
The identity of victims/witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
