This is a conduct matter concerning Detective Constable Timothy Fory. On 10 July 2026, at City of London Magistrates' Court, DC Fory was convicted of Stalking, contrary to section 2A of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
The conviction arose from a course of conduct between 15 July 2024 and 9 September 2024 directed towards a female, which amounted to stalking. DC Fory knew, or ought to have known, that his conduct amounted to harassment.
On 10 August 2026, at Westminster Magistrates' Court, DC Fory was sentenced to a Community Order, comprising 150 hours of unpaid work and 15 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement (RAR) days. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge and costs totalling £889.
The Court further imposed a Restraining Order until 10 August 2031, prohibiting DC Fory from contacting the victim, directly or indirectly, by any means.
Detective Constable Timothy Fory of Professional Standards Anti-Corruption & Abuse Command Unit will answer allegations that his conduct amounts to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of:
It is alleged that this conduct, if proven, individually and/or cumulatively amounts to gross misconduct and therefore should be dismissed.
The identity of victims and witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
