Officer X, will answer allegations that his conduct amounted to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
- Authority, Respect and Courtesy
- Discreditable Conduct
It is alleged between 2020 and 2024, Officer X committed assaults and engaged in harassment towards a former partner. Officer X is further alleged to have engaged in coercive and controlling behaviour.
It is alleged that this conduct amounts to gross misconduct, namely a breach of the standards of professional behaviour that, if proved, is so serious that dismissal would be justified.
The identity of victims/witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
If you wish to apply to attend the hearing you must book no later than 1pm the previous working day. This is to allow for sufficient time to process the application. Any requests received after this time will be unable to be processed in time for the hearing and therefore will be rejected.
