Name of the officer concerned: DC Mandeep Dari
Date: 3 November 2026
Time: 9am
Location: Empress State Building, Empress Approach, Lillie Road, West Brompton, London, SW6 1TR
DC Mandeep Dari, based within the Specialist Crime, North West Command Unit, will answer allegations that their conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
DC Dari's MPS issued device was subject to routine Lawful Business Monitoring, and it identified a number of messages that were in breach of MPS policies.
It is suspected that between 12/03/2026 and 27/03/2026, DC Dari used the MPS-issued device for personal communications with an individual outside the organisation where there was no evident policing-related purpose.
The content and nature of which were personal, inappropriate, and suggestive of a relationship developing beyond a professional context.
These communications are understood to have included messages exchanged with the daughter of a suspect in a drugs and firearms case. DC Dari was the OIC of this case.
As a result of that stated herein, if proven, DC Dari conduct individually or cumulatively amounts to gross misconduct, and her dismissal may be justified.
The identity of victims and witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
If you wish to apply to attend the hearing you must book no later than 1pm the previous working day. This is to allow for sufficient time to process the application. Any requests received after this time will be unable to be processed in time for the hearing and therefore will be rejected.
Please ensure that you have read the conditions of entry prior to booking.
