Former Detective Constable Lindsay Blackman, previously based at Specialist Crime - South, will answer allegations that his conduct amounted to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:

Particulars
Mr Blackman faces the following allegations:
On 23rd October 2018 , whilst off duty, Mr Blackman assaulted his partner by throwing her onto a bed.
On 1st December 2018, whilst of duty, Mr Blackman assaulted his partner by pulling her hair and hitting her face.
On 11th January 2019, whilst off duty, Mr Blackman assaulted his partner by pinning her down and punching her twice on the arm.
Between 1st February 2018 and 20th March 2019 Mr Blackman repeatedly or continuously engaged in behaviour towards his partner that was controlling or coercive.
It is alleged that in doing so former DC Lindsay Blackman has breached the Standard of Professional Behaviour in respect of Discreditable Conduct. It is further alleged that this conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.
The hearing will start on Tuesday 2nd June 2026 and is listed for 4 days.
The hearing will be held in public. The identity of victims and witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
