Chief Inspector Kevin Weeden, based within MO6 Public Order Planning Command Unit, will answer allegations that their conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
i. Discreditable Conduct
ii. Authority, Respect, and Courtesy
iii. Orders and Instructions
iv. Equality & Diversity
v. Duties and Responsibilities
It is alleged that between August 2024 and February 2025, Chief Inspector Weeden abused his position for a sexual purpose in respect of a junior female colleague. This included pursuing a pursuit of a sexual and/or emotional relationship, engaging in inappropriate communications, and failing to declare or appropriately manage the relationship despite the officer working under his supervision.
It is further alleged that between November 2024 and February 2026, he engaged in persistent and unwanted contact with the same officer, continuing to send communications despite being asked to stop.
In acting in the way alleged, CI Kevin Weeden has breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour and this conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.

The identity of victims and witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
