SPC Salman Latif will answer allegations that his conduct amounted to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
* Discreditable Conduct.
This conduct matter is composed of three allegations:
1. It is alleged that in May 2021, SPC Latif assaulted Miss A by kicking her in the region of her foot/ankle thereby causing her bruising/swelling;
2. It is alleged that between February and March 2022, SPC Latif harassed Miss A by making 86 separate calls across 14 different days, which was both excessive and unwanted, using a private/withheld number, in a manner that caused an intimidating/hostile environment for Miss A; and
3. It is alleged that SPC Latif physically assaulted Miss A on the night of 3 April 2022/early hours of 4 April 2022, causing her marks/bruising. This incident occurred at the Ground Zero Lounge Bar, UB6.
The matter and conduct set out above amount to gross misconduct, namely a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour that, if proved, are so serious as to justify dismissal.
The hearing will be held in public. The identity of victims and witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
