PC Olajide, based in Central West Command Unit, and former PC Fellowes will answer to allegations that their conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of:
It is alleged that on 5 October 2023, PC Olajide and FPC Fellowes sat their sergeant’s exam in same room, at the same residential address one after the other.
By sitting their exams consecutively in the same private residential location, with both present throughout each other’s sittings, they individually or collectively gained, attempted to gain or allowed an unfair advantage, in breach of both their oath at the start of the examination and the Standards of Professional Behaviour.
In acting this way, it is alleged that PC Olajide and FPC Fellowes breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour. This conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct so serious that dismissal would have been justified.
The identity of victims/witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
