Officer A will answer allegations that their conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
* Discreditable Conduct
It is alleged that on 27 February 2024, following the seizure and examination of two mobile phones, 19 extreme pornographic images were identified.
It is further alleged that between 28 January 2023 and 15 February 2024, Officer A accessed a large number of websites linked to extreme pornography.
In acting in the way alleged, Officer A has breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour and this conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.
The hearing will be held in public. The identity of victims and witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
