Former Detective Chief Inspector Christopher Soole, based within Central North Command Unit, will answer allegations that their conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
- Discreditable Conduct
- Duties and Responsibilities
It is alleged that between 10 May 2025 and 12 November 2025, Former DCI Soole used a Metropolitan Police Service-issued mobile telephone to send and receive personal, intimate and sexually explicit messages without a policing purpose and contrary to MPS ICT policy.
It is further alleged that, during the same period, Former DCI Soole used a Metropolitan Police Service-issued mobile telephone to arrange and facilitate meetings of an intimate nature within police buildings for purposes unconnected with policing duties.
In acting in the way alleged, Former DCI Soole has breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour and this conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.
