Detective Sergeant Jason Grafham, based at Central Specialist Crime: Major Inquiries, will answer allegations that his conduct amounts to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
* Equality and Diversity
* Discreditable Conduct
* Authority, Respect and Courtesy
It is alleged that DS Jason Grafham acted and made comments to fellow police officers that were offensive, sexually inappropriate, derogatory and/or discriminatory which were made in a manner likely to bring discredit upon the police.
It is also alleged that DS Grafham retained case material including custody records, written correspondence and media-related content from the investigation of the rape and murder of Sally Anne Bowman and showed crime scene photographs of her in situ to other officers when he had no policing reason or purpose to do so.
It is alleged that his conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct and is so serious as to justify dismissal.
The identity of victims and witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
