I am pleased to inform you that the information requested in question 1 is held by the MPS and is already in the public domain. The information can be accessed via the following link: 

 

 

This dashboard provides annual demand data, including figures for 2025, along with comparative data covering the previous ten years.

 

Please note that the published data currently shows that 6,959 requests were received in 2025. This figure was accurate as of 5 January 2026. Since that time, additional requests from 2025 that had not, at that time, been logged have now been recorded and backdated within our system, bringing the updated total for 2025 to 7,069 requests.

 

 

The MPS took action on all of the requests received in 2025. Actions taken include logging of the request, issuing of a receipt, triaging and - for the cases that have been closed – the issuing of a response.
