Redaction policy relating to BWV footage

I note you seek access to the following information:

A description of any redaction policy that may be applied before disclosure.

CLARIFICATION:
To clarify: I am requesting information on both the redaction policy applied to Body Worn Video footage, and the general redaction policy used by the MPS when disclosing reports, officer notes, or internal records under a Subject Access Request.
As the material I’ve requested includes both types of data (video and documents), I would be grateful for confirmation of the redaction process relevant to each category.

Decision

I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in redacted format. Please find below information pursuant to your request above.

I am pleased to inform you that, I have disclosed the general redaction guidance document followed by Data Rights under a Subject Access Request in redacted format, that is, I have removed the following information:

• Name, email address, pay/warrant number and photo of MPS employees below particular grades/ranks
• Name, address and crime reference numbers that identifies a member of public (third party)
• Victim Vulnerability Risk assessment checklist

The redactions made are denoted with black boxes. In removing information that I consider to be exempt under the Act
