The Metropolitan Police Service's estimated number of attendees at the "Unite the Kingdom" march held in London on Saturday 13 September 2025.

1. The methodology or sources used to determine that estimate (e.g., aerial surveillance, officer reports, CCTV, etc.).
2. Whether this attendance estimate was officially communicated to the media or third parties, and if so, when and in what form (e.g., press briefing, written statement, social media).

Q1. The methodology or sources used to determine that estimate (e.g., aerial surveillance, officer reports, CCTV, etc.).

This was calculated by utilising CCTV, officers on the ground and NPAS (National Police Air Service) alongside partners assessment.

Q2. Whether this attendance estimate was officially communicated to the media or third parties, and if so, when and in what form (e.g., press briefing, written statement, social media).

It was communicated to media on 13 September 2025 20:54 in the form of a press release that was published on the news page of the Met website.
