Freedom of information request reference no: 01.FOI.25.047606
I note you seek access to the following information:
I am writing to request information on the V100 programme that has been deployed by the MPS.
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full. Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
Q1 - Please list all types/categories of data are being used to predict or identify suspects under the V100 programme (e.g. PNC criminal history data, nationality data, ethnicity data, education data, employment data, immigration status data, financial data, etc)
The only data that is used to identify (we need to use the word identify not predict) the people for inclusion in the VAWG 100 programme are MPS and City of London Police crime reports where the people in question are named as suspects for an NPCC VAWG definition compliant offence within the last year.
[NB: We are looking to expand this so that we use crime report data from other forces however this isn’t happening at the time of writing and is instead merely a work in progress.] We collect a variety of other data fields along the way but none of these fields contribute to identifying the people for inclusion.
Q2 - Please provide copies of any Data Protection Impact Assessments produced in relation to the V100 programme.
Please find below, a redacted PDF in which this information has been provided.
Please note:
Names of individuals on Page 1, Page 20 and Page 27 removed, so as not to contravene Data Protection principles.
Q3 - Please provide copies of any Equality Impact Assessments produced in relation to the V100 programme.
Please find below, a redacted PDF which this information has been provided.
Please note:
Names of individuals on Page 1 removed, so as not to contravene Data Protection principles.
