Final written warnings and dismissals for Student probation officers from 2021 to 2025

I note you seek access to the following information:

1. I am seeking to find out how many student Probation officers who have been through a gross misconduct or misconduct proceeding and was giving a final written warning from 01 January 2021 to the 01 January 2025.
2. I would like to know, how many probationer are still on the job as result of the final written warning and how many were dismissed on Regulation 13 of Regulation of the Police the police regulations 2003

Q1 - I am seeking to find out how many student Probation officers who have been through a gross misconduct or misconduct proceeding and was giving a final written warning from 01 January 2021 to the 01 January 2025.

There are 36 student Probation officers who have been through a gross misconduct or misconduct proceeding and was giving a Final Written Warning (FWW) from 01 January 2021 to the 01 January 2025.

Q2 - I would like to know, how many probationer are still on the job as result of the final written warning and how many were dismissed on Regulation 13 of Regulation of the Police the police regulations 2003.

There are 24 probationers still employed within the MPS and 12 are no longer serving.

There are currently 3 probationers in the MPS with a live FWW from a misconduct process. They are all under a Reg 13 process for the chief officer to consider whether that misconduct outcome would indicate that they are ...not likely to become efficient or well conducted.... One probationer has been dispensed under Reg 13 where they had attracted a FWW in their probation.
